My primary issue is that we have 68% of the population vaccinated, and 80% supposedly has antibodies indicating that they are immune to covid. With those numbers you should see a dramatic drop in death rate among covid patients. Comparing today to this time last year, the total number of deaths per week is HIGHER than it was last year.
Why is that? According to the CDC, the vaccination status of covid patients is widely under reported. In other words, they don’t know how many people are showing up in hospitals that are vaccinated. The claims that the pandemic is mostly an unvaccinated pandemic is based on incomplete information, per the CDC.
The other claim is that of the effectiveness of the vaccine. They are using random hospitals to gauge effectiness of the vaccine. Their sample size is small and they are using patient records to determine this information. Are they selectively chosing these patiants or are they randomly grabing them? Second, are they comparing the number of vaccinated at the hospital to that of the percentage of vaccinated in the city? Are they comparing the number of covid patiants to that of the city? No they are not. They are comparing the vaccinate to the unvaccinated. That doesn’t mean anything.
They are comparing per 1,000 but again this doesn’t mean anything. They need to compare it to the total number of vaccinated in the city. This information is available. You compare the total vaccinated to the total number of vaccinated showing up in hospitals. Per city. Then you compare the total unvaccinated with the total covid patients showing up in hospitals. But they can’t get the total vaccinated because either people choose not to tell the doctors or nobody in that sitation is worried about whether or not they are vaccinated when they are dying from covid.
This is why I have been looking at the number of deaths and seeing if there has been signs of it going down. If the number of deaths went down 68%, the number of people vaccinated, then I would consider the vaccine 100% effective. Then using a sliding scale as the number of deaths approach previous number of deaths. I would give it a percentage of success based on that. But we are above the number of deaths that we saw at this time last year, which tells me the vaccine doesn’t work.
